The delectable Nollywood actress, Ayo Adesanya, was full of praises as she celebrated 50years on earth at the popular Haven Event Centre, in Ikeja.
The celebration, which was two in one as she also marked her 25years in the movie industry, was graced by virtually all the heavy weights in the make belief industry, while the popular fuji musician, Wasiu Alabi, Pasuma, serenaded the celebrant’s guests.
Ayo Adesanya, who was born 11 August 1969, is a Nollywood actress, director and producer. She started her career in the English language category before embracing Yoruba films.
She hails from Ijagun, Ijebu in Ogun State southwestern Nigeria and she attended St. Ann school at Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The Most Wanted star actress later proceeded to the University of Ibadan where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mass communication.
She came into the movie industry in 1996 after she completed the National Youth Service Scheme and got her first appearance on television was on Tunji Bamishigbin’s soap opera titled Palace.
The beautiful and established Ayo Adesanya was once known to be married to Goriola Hassan, who she shared identical tatoo with, but has insisted they were never legally married.
