ATIKUNATION WELCOMES GOVERNOR OBASEKI TO PDP

Members of ATIKUNATION world-wide heartily welcome His Excellency Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki to the Party of true democrats, The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking in Lagos, Hon. Fatee Mohammed, the Director General of the movement which played a major role during the last election in support of the Presidential ambition of His Excellency Abubakar Atiku, infers the words of Robert Jarvik over the weekend that “Leaders are visionaries with a poorly developed sense of fear and no concept of the odds against them” Governor Obaseki has confirmed this saying to be true today. We admire your courage and boldness in the face of tyranny and intimidation and we warmly welcome you into the folds of true democrats.

The DG ATIKUNATION further explained that Governor Obaseki’s entrance to PDP shows that the platform is a strong political party which comprises of the essential pillar of a vibrant, well-established and resilient democracy.
“In ATIKUNATION our firm belief is that for democracy to work, every person’s voice matters. The people of Edo State including the traditional institution have made their voice known that the era of god-fatherism is over. The people’s interest and welfare is the real service to the people and making the voice of the people count is the only process through which we can deepen our democracy.
It is time that we must all frown at parties that hold its members captive to the whim of supposed godfathers because it stifles growth and productivity. Moreso, We should not encourage highly leader-centric politics because every voice matters in as much as every vote counts.
