Atiku Announces Defection To PDP On Facebook Live

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, announced his defection to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during a Facebook Live session on Sunday.
Mr. Abubakar had dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) in late November, and it was speculated that he would join his former party, the PDP.
The former vice president has boasted that he would defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 election. In a SaharaReporters poll, 26 percent of respondents said they would vote for Mr. Abubakar if he ran against Mr. Buhari.
