In a Wednesday Facebook post, Atiku’s spokesperson, Paul Ibe, said there is “nothing wrong” with multiple aspirants vying for the African Democratic Congress ticket, as the final decision rests with the delegates.

“That is democracy — as opposed to Tinubu’s dictatorship — at work,” Ibe said, adding that only a transparent process can determine the rightful candidate.
Ibe also lashed out at President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, calling it a “monumental failure.”

He accused the APC-led administration of worsening insecurity, enabling terrorists and kidnappers, and presiding over skyrocketing food prices that have made even a bag of rice unaffordable on the minimum wage.
