Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare may be on the verge of a summer move to Turkish giants Beşiktaş J.K., where a reunion with former teammate Oh Hyeon-gyu could be on the cards.
Reports from Turkish outlet Beşiktaş Yetiyor indicate that the Istanbul club is plotting an ambitious swoop for the Nigerian forward ahead of the new season. A key factor in the proposed move is Arokodare’s past connection with Oh, with both players having previously formed a striking partnership at Belgian side KRC Genk.
Beşiktaş are believed to be banking on that existing chemistry to convince Arokodare to make the switch to the Turkish Süper Lig.

The 25-year-old only joined Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. last summer in a deal valued at €26 million, but his debut campaign in England has proven difficult. Arokodare has recorded six goals and two assists in 32 appearances across all competitions—a modest return that mirrors Wolves’ broader struggles this season.
With Beşiktaş eager to strengthen their attacking options, a move for Arokodare could offer the Nigerian a fresh start and the chance to rediscover his best form alongside a familiar face.
