The armed forces operating in the state of Zamfara have reportedly killed the leader of a notorious bandit, Hassan Dan Tagwaye, and his twin Hussaini.
A statement signed yesterday by Defense Media Coordinator, Maj. Gen. John Enenche, and made available to journalists in Gusau, revealed that the bandit’s leader and his twin brother were killed in the Domboru Forest in the state’s Zurmi government district.
Recall that in August Hassan Dan Tagwaye gave the Punch Newspaper a full interview on August 17, 2019, in which he admitted that they kill 50 people for every slain herdsmen killed.
The statement added: “The airstrikes that were carried out on June 23 also neutralized several bandits.”
