Armed man holed-up in home with ‘two hostages’ as cops swarm address

AN ARMED man is holed-up in a Stockport home with “two hostages” as cops swarm the address.
Police confirmed they are at a “hostage situation” as pictures emerged of armed units at outside homes.
Greater Manchester Police said: “Shortly after 8.25am today police attended a property on Parry Mead, Woodley where an armed man had locked himself inside and made threats.
“Officers are in attendance and are attempting to engage with the man at the scene.
“Another male and a female are also believed to be inside the address.”
Residents living in Parry Mead told the Manchester Evening News they had been told to stay inside as police work to resolve the situation.
