Adron Group is exploring a strategic partnership with the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center as part of efforts to expand its operations into agriculture and unlock new opportunities in Nigeria’s agribusiness and livestock sectors.
The Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of Adron Group, Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, disclosed the development during a strategic visit to the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center, where discussions focused on the prospects of developing specialised Adron Farm Estates across Niger State.
The proposed partnership is expected to leverage the expertise of both organisations, with the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center potentially playing a key facilitation role in the development of the proposed agricultural communities.
Adron Homes and Properties, a major player in Nigeria’s real estate sector, is known for developing secure, affordable and premium housing estates across the country.
Under the proposed initiative, the group plans to apply its experience in land development, estate planning and infrastructure to the agricultural sector through the creation of purpose-built Adron Farm Estates.
The proposed farm estates are expected to provide structured and secure agricultural communities equipped with infrastructure to support commercial farming, livestock production and agro-processing.
During the tour of the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center, both sides discussed the importance of modern infrastructure and structured development in tackling some of the challenges associated with Nigeria’s fragmented agricultural system.
The proposed collaboration would bring together Adron Group’s expertise in land development and infrastructure with the agricultural knowledge, livestock production capacity and market development experience of the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center.
The initiative is also expected to contribute to increased food production, rural development and job creation while attracting fresh investment into Niger State’s agricultural sector.
If successfully implemented, the partnership could position Niger State as a major hub for integrated agricultural and real estate development, while providing a model for collaboration between Nigeria’s real estate and agricultural industries.
The ongoing discussions mark another step by Adron Group towards exploring innovative development models aimed at creating sustainable communities, expanding economic opportunities and contributing to Nigeria’s broader economic transformation.
