APC Primary: Tobun Secures Landslide Victory in Epe Constituency I

The lawmaker representing Epe Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Abiodun Mustain Tobun, has expressed gratitude to party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and residents following his victory at the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election.

Tobun, who once again secured the APC ticket to contest for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat in Epe Constituency I, described the outcome as a reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in his leadership by the people.

Speaking shortly after the primary election, the lawmaker commended the peaceful and transparent conduct of the exercise, noting that party members were given the opportunity to freely choose their preferred candidates without intimidation or interference.

According to him, the primary election was conducted in a calm atmosphere, while agents of various aspirants ensured the process remained competitive, credible, and acceptable to all stakeholders.

Tobun said his victory across the constituency reaffirmed the people’s belief in his ability to continue providing quality representation and driving developmental initiatives in Epe Constituency I.

“This victory belongs to the people of Epe Constituency I who have remained steadfast in their support and belief in our vision for progressive representation, grassroots empowerment, and sustainable development,” he stated.

The lawmaker also praised party faithful, supporters, and stakeholders whose contributions ensured the success of the exercise, adding that the maturity displayed by aspirants and their supporters strengthened internal democracy within the APC.

He further appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership and dedication to progressive governance in Nigeria.

Tobun equally acknowledged the support of the Apex Leader of Epe Division, Alhaji Sakiru Akanni Seriki Bamu, for his continued role in promoting peace, unity, and political stability within the area.

The lawmaker also extended appreciation to former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji; Lagos APC Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi; members of the Governors Advisory Council (GAC); APC executives at various levels; and the party leadership for ensuring a smooth and credible process.

Traditional rulers across Epe Kingdom, including the Oba Oloja of Epe, Oba Ladeba, and Oba Onitomu, were also commended for their prayers and support toward the peace and development of the constituency.

Tobun further thanked the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, councillors, EXCO members, market leaders, CDA and CDC executives, artisans, transport unions such as NURTW and RTEAN, commercial motorcycle riders, tricycle operators, youths, women groups, and grassroots political structures for their massive mobilization during the primary election.

Reaffirming his commitment to the people, the lawmaker pledged to continue delivering impactful legislation, people-oriented projects, and effective representation aimed at improving the welfare and socio-economic growth of Epe Constituency I.

“As we move forward, I remain fully committed to serving our people with dedication, sincerity, and the fear of God. Together, we will continue to build a stronger, greater, and more prosperous Epe Constituency I,” he added.
