In a bid to equip young graduates with the tools needed to succeed beyond the classroom, UK-based Nigerian life coach and author, Femi Abiodun, has released a new book titled From Classroom to Boardroom.

The book offers practical guidance on navigating life after school, particularly in the business world, while addressing the uncertainties many graduates face when transitioning into adulthood.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the publication, Abiodun described life after school as a journey that requires patience, preparation, and the right guidance.

“Life after school is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. It’s filled with challenges that can seem overwhelming, especially if you’re stepping out without guidance. But it doesn’t have to be that way,” he said.
He emphasised the importance of mentorship and learning from those with experience, noting that such wisdom can make the transition smoother and more intentional.
According to him, the book was written to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world demands by offering timeless and practical principles often not taught in school.
Abiodun further stressed the importance of preparation and resilience, warning that lack of foresight can lead to avoidable setbacks.
“Life will test you. But if you build the right capacity, stay grounded in these principles, and keep your head up, you’ll rise above challenges and make real progress,” he added.
He also underscored the role of early learning in shaping success, encouraging young people to embrace foundational principles that can guide their personal and professional journeys.
Described as a reflection of his personal experiences, the book chronicles lessons from failure, professional insights, and guidance from mentors. Abiodun expressed hope that it would help young people avoid common pitfalls, take bold steps, and pursue meaningful and impactful lives.
