In a heartfelt letter dated 12th September 2025, former Ogun State Governor and current Chairman of the Senate Committee on Navy, Otunba Engr. Gbenga Daniel, extended his warmest congratulations to the Olubadan-designate.

Describing the moment as a “glorious ascension,” Senator Daniel praised Ladoja’s life of distinguished public service, calling his journey one marked by “resilience, foresight, and unwavering service.”
Ladoja, who previously served as Governor of Oyo State and held senatorial office, is widely respected for his statesmanship, cultural pride, and longstanding commitment to Yoruba heritage.

His rise to the ancient stool of Olubadan is seen as both a personal triumph and a communal honour.
“This installation is not merely a personal honour but a divine recognition,” Senator Daniel wrote, adding that Ladoja’s reign is expected to bring unity, prosperity, and wise leadership to Ibadanland — Africa’s largest city by landmass and a bastion of Yoruba tradition.
The letter concluded with a powerful Yoruba benediction: “K’ádé pẹ l’órí, kí bàtà pẹ l’ésè, Kabiyesi” — a prayer for longevity and a prosperous reign.
