Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has berated President Muhammadu Buhari for his frequent trips.

Omokri, while mocking Buhari said perhaps the borders should be closed so he could stay back in Nigeria and govern.

He made the mockery while lamenting Buhari’s planned trip to Saudi Arabia, a few days after he returned from Russia.

In a tweet, the former Presidential aide wrote: “General @MBuhari is flying to Saudi tonight. He returned from Russia 2 days ago. He recently returned from SA and again from Japan. Perhaps we should close our borders for Buhari, not just rice, so he can govern.”

Buhari, who recently returned from a three-day trip to Russia will today (Monday) depart Nigeria for Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he will attend the third edition of the Future Investment Initiative, FII.

Garba Shehu, the President’s spokesman who disclosed this in a statement in Abuja on Sunday said that the event was organised by Saudi’s Public Investment Fund, PIF.
