The president of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, has joined well-meaning Nigerians in extending birthday messages to President Muhammadu Buhari as he turns 76 on Monday, December 17, 2018.
We reported that the president has been the subject of encomium from personalities across the nooks and cranny of the country, including the secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha and former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
Congratulating the president through a brief tweet on his official and verified Twitter handle, @Bukolasaraki, the Senate president wished President Buhari more fulfilled years.
He tweeted: “Happy Birthday to President Muhammadu Buhari and many happy returns.”
Meanwhile, we previously reported that the Buhari Youth Organisation (BYO) on Monday, December 17, congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his 76th birthday, describing him as a patriotic and visionary leader.
Lagos state coordinator and general secretary of the youth group, Abdulwaheed Odunuga and Adekunle Aderibigbe respectively, in a jointly signed statement, commended the president for delivering change agenda to the generality of Nigerians.
