When the buzz was on, little did the Nollywood industry know what was about to hit it especially when Innocent Idibia (@official2baba), popular known as 2Baba, decided to speak his mind.
All roads led to Silverbird Galleria (@silverbirdgalleria) on December 5, 2018, where the PowerOf1 movie (@powerof1movie) was shown to an exclusive audience.
The storyline is about a young celebrity hiphop artist, LeJit, played by Alex Ekubo (@alexxekubo), caught in between standing for what he believes in at the detriment of his career and safety of his family or giving in to pressure.
All he wanted to do is send a strong but peaceful message to those in power that enough is enough, but what started from simply copying and pasting a post on social media soon becomes a monster making what he thinks is just a simple mission becomes mission impossible.
What really is the message and who are the enemy – and who’s really on the side of this lone crusader? You may not have to wait too long to get answers to these questions as the movie would soon hit the cinemas around you.
