Zamfara APC set for Saturday’s congress – Speaker

The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Zamfara state is set for Saturday’s state congress, the speaker of the State House of Assembly Alhaji Sanusi Garba Rikiji has said.

Rikiji who spoke shortly after stakeholders meeting said all the stake holders were ready and committed to ensuring a credible election of the leaders that would pilot the affairs of the party in the state.

He said they were holding the meeting in preparation for the Saturday election and in accordance with rules and guidelines of the party as mandated and no one would be left behind in the Congress.

“APC as a party will make sure that justice and fairness is done to every party member. We are painstakingly looking at all issues involved. We are also rededicating our selves to make sure that the tomorrow’s Congress is a success,” he added.

Alhaji Rikiji then commended how the last ward and local government congressess were peacefully conducted and therefore tagging them successful.
