Afrobeats singer Lyta has spoken out against the wave of criticism and online bullying directed at him on social media, saying many of his critics would not have survived the hardships he endured.
In a viral video circulating online, the singer addressed trolls head-on, describing his past struggles as overwhelming and deeply painful. He suggested that those mocking him lacked the resilience to withstand similar experiences.

According to Lyta, the difficulties he faced were so intense that he would not wish them on anyone, adding that they shaped his strength and perspective.
“I don’t wish what I went through on anybody. You wouldn’t be able to handle it,” he said.
“If you experienced what I did, you’d have given up. That’s why you’re bullying.”
The singer also used the moment to express gratitude to his family, acknowledging their unwavering support during his lowest moments.
“Big shoutout to my parents and my siblings for not giving up on me,” he added.
Lyta’s emotional message has since sparked conversations online about mental health, empathy and the impact of cyberbullying on public figures within the entertainment industry.
