Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has addressed circulating rumours linking him romantically with actress and reality TV star Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bambam, amid speculation surrounding her alleged separation from husband Teddy A.
In an interview with BBC Igbo shared on Thursday, Arukwe clarified that he maintains strict professionalism when working with colleagues, particularly those who are married.
“I met Bambam for the first time when we shot that movie and before filming, I was always asking my co-lead actor if it is okay to touch them in a certain way, especially the married ones because I don’t want them to have problems at home,” he explained.

The actor, known for his role in Love in Every Word, stressed that whenever scripts call for romantic or intimate scenes, he ensures he obtains co-stars’ consent beforehand to avoid misunderstandings outside the set.
“Everything done during filming is strictly professional and should not be interpreted as anything personal. I’m very careful with things like that. I always ask first because I respect people’s homes and marriages,” Arukwe added.

His comments come as a reassurance to fans and colleagues that his on-screen collaborations are guided by respect and professionalism, regardless of the nature of the scenes.
