In a candid interview with fellow actress Biola Adebayo, Solaja revealed that her decision to undergo liposuction and a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) stemmed from personal dissatisfaction with her appearance—particularly her stomach—and her passion for fashion.

“I didn’t fix my body because of any man. I don’t do that,” she said.
“I love fashion, but I didn’t like how my stomach looked in clothes. That’s why I chose to do liposuction and BBL.”

Solaja also reflected on her struggles after relocating to the United States.
She addressed public speculation that she was pregnant at the time, explaining that the move was emotionally challenging and filled with uncertainty.
I didn’t fix my body because of any man. I don’t do that.
“I would cry and wonder if I made the right choice,” she admitted. “People thought I was pregnant, but I was just starting over in a new country.”
She shared how a phone call with actor Lateef Adedimeji during his pilgrimage to Mecca gave her strength.
“He prayed for me and encouraged me to go and prosper. It meant a lot to me,” she said.
Solaja emphasized that her love for acting is rooted in passion, not fame.
“If acting were like being a doctor, I’d still do it. I genuinely love the craft,” she said.
Now preparing for her return to the Nigerian film scene, she reassured fans eager to see her back on screen.
