South East Renewed Hope Agenda pledges to secure President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election, saying the region can no longer afford to remain in opposition
Tinubu 2027 victory is now a declared mission for the South East Renewed Hope Agenda, SERHA, which says the region’s historic opposition stance must change by the next election.

The group made this known in Umuahia on Saturday during the inauguration and empowerment of its members across the 17 local government areas of Abia State.

It described its grassroots strategy as a game changer that would finally align the South East with the political mainstream.
Speaking at the event, the national coordinator of SERHA, Belusochukwu Enwere, said the region had paid the price of political isolation for too long and should now embrace a new direction.

He stressed that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is already redistributing political and economic power to Nigerian youth and that the South East must be part of the emerging structure.
“We cannot afford to remain in opposition. If the South East joins the fold, it will witness uncommon development,” Enwere stated.
He noted that traditional methods of canvassing support through political elites had failed in previous cycles. As a result, the group has adopted a bottom-up, grassroots-focused strategy to reach voters directly and build loyalty from the ground level.
The group’s mission includes launching SERHA in other South East states and providing strong backing to its local chapters.
Enwere described the newly inaugurated local members as the engine room of a renewed movement that would champion President Tinubu’s re-election.
“This approach is a game changer. We are empowering those who are working to make what we are doing grow,” he said, highlighting the group’s intention to bypass old political barriers and reshape the region’s electoral outcome.
Enwere praised Tinubu’s style of leadership, especially his youth-friendly appointments and empowerment initiatives, which he said demonstrated genuine inclusion. He urged the group to get to work immediately to ensure sweeping victories in their respective zones.

The message from SERHA signals a shift in political alignment and strategy ahead of the 2027 general elections. Whether the South East ultimately alters its historical voting pattern remains to be seen, but the groundwork for a realignment has clearly begun.
