Ben Murray-Bruce, senator representing Bayelsa east constituency has blasted the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity,Garba Shehu, for calling Nigerians lazy fellow.
Garba Shehu had said only lazy Nigerians complained of hunger.
Reacting, Ben Bruce said Nigerians are not lazy but jobless as a result of high rate of unemployment in the country.
“What‘s wrong with the President’s spokesmen? First,they call Nigerians animals then this? Is this fellow aware that almost 9 million Nigerians lost their jobs in the last 3 years? It‘s not that Nigerians are lazy. They want to work, but where are the jobs?”.
