On Monday, Soludo visited hospitals and correctional facilities across the state, using the occasion to reinforce his servant-leadership model.

His first stop was the psychiatric hospital in Nawfia, where he stressed the need to de-stigmatize mental illness and announced the construction of a new mental health rehabilitation centre in Nibo.
At the Onitsha Correctional Centre, the governor spoke to inmates about second chances and the transformative power of vocational training. “Our prisons must be places of hope and renewal, not just confinement,” he said.

He later toured St. Charles Borromeo Specialist Hospital and Iyienu Hospital, engaging healthcare workers and patients, and promising improved access to quality care.
A touching moment unfolded at Iyienu Hospital as students presented him a birthday cake, highlighting his deep connection to the people.
