Rivers State Administrator appoints Sole Administrators for all 23 LGAs. Discover the full list and details of the newly reconstituted boards
Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd), the Rivers State Administrator, has announced the appointment of Sole Administrators for all 23 Local Government Areas (LGAs) within the state.

This move comes alongside the reconstitution of several Boards of Agencies, Commissions, and Parastatals, which were previously suspended.

The appointments were detailed in a statement issued by Prof. Ibibia Worika, Secretary to the State Government, in Port Harcourt. The newly appointed LGA Administrators are as follows:

* Onyenachi Nwankwor (Etche)
* Gospel Kpee (Gokana)
* Isaiah Nobuawu (Ikwerre)
* Baridum Nwibere (Khana)
* Clifford Walter (Obio/Akpor)
* Chukwuma Aje (Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni)
* Eliel Owubokir (Ogu/Bolo)

In addition to the LGA appointments, Vice Admiral Ibas also approved the appointment of Mr Michael Odey as the Chairman of the State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC).
The members of the commission include Mr Lazarus Torbira, Arthur Nwafor, Godfrey Mbgudiogha, Joyce Akaninwor, Olive Brue, and Chidi Halliday.
