Protesting members of the #RevolutionNow group were abruptly stopped from marching through the streets of Osogbo, the Osun State capital by armed security personnel.
Just as the protesters were about to get started on the business of the day on Monday, police officers and Department of State Services operatives stormed the venue.
Shortly after Olawale Adebayo, the leader of the protest in the state addressed newsmen in Fagbewesa area of Osogbo, and off to march to Olaiya Junction to start the planned protest, the security operatives appeared and stopped them.
