Nollywood actress, Lola Margaret, who is now an ex-convict because of her incident with the US Police over a financial fraud case she was involved in, has been deported.
The actress was arrested after surveillance was conducted on her bank account. According to reports, the Yoruba actress had a suspiciously high amount of money wired into her bank account.
She was said to have constantly withdrawn the money thereby drawing the attention of detectives. Though the actress had first denied such thing was going on, it was later found out that she indeed served time in prison over the fraud charges.
The actress, I gather, was deported to Nigeria after her time in prison. A close friend of hers squealed that she is living in a closed estate in Ibadan where very few people know her. She is said to be supported by a long time boyfriend.
Another close friend of the actress is however urging her to come out of hiding and return to the movie scene.
Kemi Korede could not hide her thoughts about lola as she celebrated her and also shared some advices to her. “Lolami, you were always there for me when nobody was. I respect you, and you will always be my old-timer friend. We need you back in the industry”
