This was made known in a statement on Monday by Kayode Adegoke, Head of Corporate Communications at NIMC.

According to Adegoke, the upgrade is designed to offer enhanced, seamless, and more secure services for Nigerians living abroad and will streamline the NIN enrolment process through authorised Front-End Partners (FEPs).
“NIMC Diaspora Front-End Partners have been onboarded on the upgraded system with intensive training to equip them with the necessary knowledge for managing the new platform,” the statement read.

Deadline: All diaspora enrolment partners must activate their licences on the **upgraded platform within 48 hours.
Access: Nigerians abroad can obtain NIN enrolment from compliant and activated partners only.
Support: A dedicated service team has been set up to resolve issues related to the transition.
Contact: Diaspora applicants with issues should contact NIMC via [nimccustomercare@nimc.gov.ng](mailto:nimccustomercare@nimc.gov.ng).
Adegoke also reiterated that:
- NIN enrolment continues uninterrupted within Nigeria.
- Nigerians can modify their NIN data through the [self-service modification portal](https://selfservicemodification.nimc.gov.ng).
NIN holders are encouraged to download the NIMC NINAuth App (available on iOS and Google Play Store) to:
- Instantly verify their NIN
- Control who accesses their information
- Manage their digital identity securely
