Nigerian Army anti-terror operations achieve key victories across Borno, Taraba, Delta, and Ondo, rescuing victims, arresting suspects, and seizing weapons
Nigerian Army anti-terror operations have continued to yield significant results, with troops neutralising insurgents, rescuing kidnapped victims, and disrupting criminal networks across multiple states.

From July 30 to August 2, coordinated military efforts led to the arrest and killing of several terrorists and criminals, as well as the recovery of weapons, explosives, and cash.

In Borno State, troops of 19 Brigade Garrison confronted ISWAP fighters in Kekeno, Kukawa LGA, forcing the insurgents to retreat.
A cache of ammunition was recovered, including 67 rounds of 7.62mm Special, 81 rounds of 7.62mm x 54mm, a hand grenade, and an IED, which was safely detonated.

In Taraba, a joint effort by Operation WHIRL STROKE and the DSS resulted in the arrest of a suspected gunrunner in Wukari. Seized items included 362 rounds of 7.62mm Special, a motorcycle, and over ₦842,000 in cash.
Meanwhile, in Delta State, troops working with the Nigerian Police rescued three kidnapped victims two female students and a male adult from Otulu Forest, Oshimili North.
One kidnapper was neutralised and several weapons and ₦3.6 million were recovered.
In Ondo, troops arrested a suspect armed with a dane gun, machete, and black mask along the Ikare-Ekiti Road, while in Ughelli South, another suspect was caught with illegally refined petroleum products during an operation involving Tantita Security Operatives.

These victories reflect a growing momentum in Nigerian Army anti-terror operations, as forces continue working with other agencies to secure lives, dismantle threats, and restore peace.
