Speaking on Arise TV PrimeTime, Adebayo called on Nigerians to stop recycling old politicians, stressing that fresh leadership is essential to solve the country’s persistent challenges.

Agreeing with Sen. Abba Moro, Adebayo identified the elite, particularly politicians, as the root cause of Nigeria’s problems.
He said: “If you don’t like spots, then you don’t need to bring leopards because leopards cannot change their spots. You need new ideas and new politicians.”

Adebayo argued that Nigeria, grappling with 70 percent poverty, poor infrastructure, and weak institutions, cannot afford to be a conservative society focused on preserving past gains.
He emphasized that political ideologies should prioritize citizens over politicians seeking power for its own sake.
He further highlighted that politicians represent only about two percent of the population, stressing that the responsibility to demand change lies with the remaining 98 percent of Nigerians.
Commenting on the APC-led federal government, Adebayo echoed former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s critique, describing it as a failed, clannish, and visionless administration worsening Nigeria’s socioeconomic challenges.
