Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano yesterday said the implementation of the new minimum wage would add over N2 billion to the state government’s wage bill.
The governor disclosed this while addressing some staff of the Anambra Broadcasting Service at his residence in Aguleri in Anambra East Local Government Area of the state.
He assured that that he would pay the new national minimum wage as promised.
He assured: “I will not hesitate to pay the national minimum wage despite huge financial implications’.
