Liverpool teenage sensation Rio Ngumoha announced himself on the Premier League stage in spectacular fashion, scoring a dramatic 100th-minute winner to secure a 3-2 victory over Newcastle United at St James’ Park.

The teenager’s decisive strike extended Newcastle’s winless run against Liverpool to 18 league encounters, leaving the Magpies frustrated despite a spirited fightback.

The build-up to the clash had been dominated by speculation around Alexander Isak’s transfer saga, but the match itself quickly stole the headlines with its high tempo and fierce challenges.
Ryan Gravenberch opened the scoring with a thunderous strike from distance, continuing Liverpool’s remarkable streak of scoring in 36 consecutive league matches.
