The EFCC arrest internet fraudsters operation in Wukari, Taraba State, has led to the capture of 37 suspected cybercriminals.

Operatives from the Makurdi Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission carried out the raid on Wednesday, August 27, 2027.

Acting on credible intelligence, they stormed a hideout located behind the Federal University, Wukari.
During the operation, EFCC officials recovered two cars, 12 laptops, and 46 mobile phones believed to have been used in cybercrime activities.

The anti-graft agency confirmed the arrests in a post on its official X account, stating that the suspects will be arraigned in court once investigations are finalized.
