On Saturday morning not less than 50 bandits reportedly attacked Mazoji Village under Katsina State’s Matazu Local Government Area, killing the community’s traditional ruler.
This comes just three weeks after bandits murdered the Yantumaki district head in Danmusa Local Government, Alhaji Maidabino.
A source Reveal that the bandits were attacking Mazoji Village around 2 am and were operating for several hours before the traditional leader was killed.
Bandits attacks and kidnappings have been on the rise in Katsina State in recent times, leaving many deaths and displacement behind.
