The South-West chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday asked the party’s leadership to immediately commence the process of challenging the results of last Saturday’s presidential election declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The National Vice-Chairman (Southwest), Dr. Eddy Olafeso declared that the party’s candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, won the election.
Addressing a press conference in Lagos alongside the former Deputy National Chairman, Chief Olabode George and other South-West PDP leaders, Olafeso said the election in which President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC was declared the winner was characterized by violence.
