APC slams PDP governors, accusing them of hypocrisy and betrayal, while boasting electoral wins and Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda as proof of public trust
APC slams PDP governors, accusing them of hypocrisy, poor performance, and betrayal of public trust in a fiery statement issued on Monday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

The ruling party was reacting to criticisms from PDP governors following their meeting in Zamfara State, where they accused the APC of lacking vision and stifling democracy.

Dismissing those claims, Morka described the PDP as a “comatose organisation” ravaged by internal crisis and rejected by Nigerians.
He said the party’s recent remarks were “morbidly comical,” alleging that the opposition was projecting its failures onto the ruling party.

Pointing to APC’s victories in recent by-elections including in non-traditional strongholds such as Zamfara, Adamawa, and Kano Morka said the results underscored Nigerians’ confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
“The results were a categorical declaration of loss of confidence and rejection of the PDP,” Morka stressed.
He further accused PDP governors of gross underperformance despite enjoying record federal allocations. According to him, over ₦2 trillion was distributed to states as of July 2025, the highest in Nigeria’s history.
“Even with record-breaking revenue allocations, PDP governors continue to fail their citizens,” he said. “They are in no position to lecture Nigerians about 2027.”
