Big Brother Naija Season 11 officially introduced its first male housemate, T-Ram, as the reality show’s latest edition premiered on Saturday, July 26, 2026.
The 24-year-old Nigerian streamer was unveiled by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and immediately declared his intention to focus solely on the competition, ruling out any possibility of romance in the house.
Describing himself as “tenacious to the core,” T-Ram said he joined the reality show with one goal in mind—to become Africa’s biggest streamer and prove himself through strategic gameplay.
“I’m here for the game,” he said, stressing that he has no interest in distractions or relationships during his stay in the Big Brother house.
Season 11 is expected to feature weeks of entertainment as contestants battle for the show’s record ₦160 million grand prize. Viewers can expect the usual mix of friendships, rivalries, strategic alliances, dramatic confrontations and surprise evictions that have made BBNaija one of Africa’s biggest reality television shows.
Meanwhile, former BBNaija housemate Seyi Awolowo has disclosed that he initially tried to keep his family background a secret when he auditioned for the 2019 edition of the show.
Speaking on The Nigeria Meter Podcast, Seyi explained that he wanted to be judged based on his personality and capabilities rather than his famous surname.
The grandson of the late Nigerian nationalist, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, said he had hoped to enter the house using only his first name.
However, his plan was cut short during the live introduction when host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced his full name before he stepped into the house.
According to Seyi, the moment his surname was mentioned, fellow contestants immediately realised he came from one of Nigeria’s most prominent political families, ending his attempt to keep his identity under wraps.
