Comedian and content creator Mr. Jollof has publicly announced his backing of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
In a video obtained by MetroNews, Mr. Jollof affirmed that he and members of his community are committed to supporting the president “with our full chest.” He added that Tinubu is expected to remain in office until 2031.
Explaining the motivation behind their support, Mr. Jollof highlighted Tinubu’s marital connection to the community through First Lady Remi Tinubu. “Tinubu is our in-law because his wife is a chief here and one of our own,” he said.
The comedian’s endorsement underscores the continued influence of community ties in shaping political allegiances.
