Controversial Nollywood figure and singer, Portable, has publicly responded to allegations of child abandonment by his ex-wife, Fatimo Momoh, challenging her to bring their son to him and suggesting a DNA test to confirm paternity.
The development comes hours after Momoh accused the actor of neglecting her and their 10-year-old son, Mahbub, for the past eight years.
In a video shared via his Instagram page on Monday, Portable dismissed the claims and instructed his ex-wife to bring the child to Abeokuta, where he currently resides.

The singer maintained that he is willing to take full responsibility for the child’s welfare, including education and feeding, but only if paternity is confirmed.
“Fatima, I’m the one that did Mahbub’s naming ceremony when he was born,” he said. “If you’re very sure that I’m his biological father—if you’re double sure that a DNA test won’t prove otherwise—bring him to Ogun State.”

Portable added that he is not afraid of accepting responsibility, emphasizing that the child should be brought to him in Abeokuta if he is indeed the father.
The public exchange has since sparked reactions on social media, with many weighing in on the dispute and the actor’s call for a paternity test.
