A five-day Oracle Primavera P6 training programme sponsored by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has successfully concluded in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, with participants gaining hands-on project management skills.
The training, held from March 23 to 27 and executed by Mathnebi Nig Ltd, brought together 50 participants drawn from various sectors.
The programme was designed to equip attendees with practical knowledge in using Oracle Primavera P6, a globally recognised project management software widely used in engineering, construction, and energy sectors.

Participants were trained on project scheduling, planning, and effective management techniques aimed at improving project delivery and efficiency.
In his closing remarks, the Company Secretary of Mathnebi Nig Ltd expressed gratitude to the NCDMB for entrusting the firm with the execution of the training.

He noted that the programme achieved its core objective of strengthening participants’ capacity to manage complex projects using modern tools.
The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts by the NCDMB to promote local content development and build technical expertise within Nigeria’s workforce.
Stakeholders say such training programmes are critical in enhancing productivity, improving project outcomes, and positioning Nigerian professionals to compete globally.
