Abia State security meeting chaired by Gov. Alex Otti urged agencies to stay on red alert and assured residents the state remains safe
Abia State security meeting chaired by Governor Alex Otti on Friday reviewed the state’s security situation and reaffirmed government’s commitment to sustaining a safe environment.

The meeting, attended by heads of security agencies, stressed the need for vigilance, especially to prevent criminals fleeing neighboring states from entering or settling in Abia.

Speaking after the meeting, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Navy Commander MacDonald Uba (Rtd), and the Abia State Commissioner of Police, CP Danladi Isa, briefed journalists on the resolutions.
They explained that the monthly security meeting provides a platform for security agencies in the state to share intelligence, compare notes, and strengthen collaboration.

Both Isa and Uba urged citizens to remain security-conscious and promptly report suspicious activities to the authorities.
They assured residents that Abia State remains safe and secure under the proactive watch of security operatives.

Signing off, the officials reaffirmed the government’s stance: “With cooperation from citizens, Abia will continue to be safe for all.”
