Bimpe Akintunde shares her emotional pregnancy journey after giving birth to a baby girl. The Nollywood star says the experience tested her faith in God
Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde has opened up about the emotional and spiritual struggles she endured during her pregnancy, following the birth of her second child, a baby girl.

Taking to Instagram, the Yoruba film star described her nine-month journey as one marked by deep fear, doubt and spiritual trials. She admitted that there were moments she began to question her faith in God.

“I came, I saw, and I conquered. For I am the one the Lord chooses to bless,” she wrote.
“Regardless of the ‘ILAKOJA’, it was a tough journey. I began to doubt my God, but He proved Himself.”

The actress expressed immense gratitude to her loved ones, especially her close friend Sarah Apekola, for organising a surprise baby shower and offering consistent emotional support.
Bimpe also revealed her newborn daughter’s name as **Bioluwatifeorilori**, a name she says reflects her gratitude and faith.
The actress, who remarried in 2023 after being single for two years, tied the knot with Yousuph O Ganiyu in a private Nikai ceremony.
