Yahaya Bello fourth wife Hiqma joins family in private Abuja ceremony. Former governor’s wife Hafiza confirms marriage and welcomes her warmly on Instagram
Yahaya Bello fourth wife has officially joined his family, following a private wedding ceremony held in Abuja. The former Kogi state governor tied the knot with Hiqma on Saturday, in an event attended by close family and friends.

The news was confirmed by Hafiza Yahaya Bello, his third wife, who took to Instagram to share her joy.
“Alhamdulillah, our family just got a little bigger and more loving! A warm welcome to our new family member, Mrs. Hiqma Yahaya Bello! May Allah bless our union and fill our home with love, peace, and Barakah. Amin,” she wrote.
Yahaya Bello served as Kogi state governor from 2016 to 2023 under the All Progressives Congress (APC) and was known as the youngest sitting governor during his tenure.
Before this recent marriage, he was married to Amina Oyiza Bello, Rashida Yahaya Bello, and Hafiza Bello.
He holds a BSc in Accounting and Business Administration as well as an MSc in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
While Bello has largely kept his personal life out of the public eye, the confirmation of his fourth marriage has sparked renewed public interest. The addition of Hiqma marks a new chapter in the former governor’s growing family.
