Napoli president, Aurelien De Laurentiis, has firmly declared that Victor Osimhen will not be joining Juventus, despite the Serie A giants’ interest in the Nigerian striker.

This declaration comes as Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, prepares for a potential summer transfer after a falling out with Napoli’s hierarchy.
Osimhen, 26, has enjoyed a prolific season in Turkey, scoring 29 goals and providing six assists in all competitions, attracting significant attention from top European clubs. Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal from the Premier League have all been linked with the forward, alongside Juventus.
However, De Laurentiis has made it clear that he will not allow Osimhen to strengthen Napoli’s domestic rivals. Speaking on Radio Kiss Kiss via Calciomercato, he stated emphatically, “No! Never at Juventus.”
Napoli might be willing to lower their €75 million valuation of Osimhen to facilitate a move to Manchester United, partly to prevent him from joining Juventus.
The Nigerian striker’s anticipated departure last summer was thwarted by a failed move to Saudi Arabia and his rejection of a Chelsea transfer due to personal terms.
Galatasaray are reportedly keen to retain Osimhen, but convincing him to stay will be challenging. The player himself has remained tight-lipped about his future.
“There are always rumours about me, but I live in the moment. I’m enjoying all this now. The fans supported me in an incredible way. Not only me but also my companions and my family. The best decision will be made for everyone, but Galatasaray will forever remain in my heart,” Osimhen said.
De Laurentiis’s firm stance underscores Napoli’s determination to control Osimhen’s destination and prevent him from bolstering a rival club, adding another layer of intrigue to the striker’s highly anticipated summer transfer.
