N25,000 Provisional Pay Rise Will Now Cut Across All Levels Of Workers – Gbajabiamila

The Chief Of Staff to President Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, has announced that the N25,000 provisional pay rise for low-grade federal workers as intervention will now to cut across all levels of workers.

President Tinubu in his Independence day broadcast this morning announced that low-grade workers will receive an additional N25, 000 on their salaries for the next six months as part of measures to cushion the economic hardship being experienced since the removal of the fuel subsidy. The low-grade workers being junior workers from grade level 1-7.

On Sinday  evening, the leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress NLC had a meeting with a Federal government delegation who are seeking ways to avert the October 3rd indefinite strike. After the meeting, Gbajabiamila spoke to newsmen when he mentioned that the increase will now cut across all workers.
