Recently, there is a good news for all students and teachers in Lagos State, the Lagos State government has given an order for all schools in the state to reopen on August 3.
However, as it was directed by the Federal Government, it’s only graduating students that are allowed to resume, i.e, Students in Primary 6, JSS 3 and SS 3.
The date and declaration was made known by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Saturday, through a televised press briefing.
In accordance with FG he also stated that it’s only students in transitional classes as I mentioned above; Basic 6 ,JSS 3 and SS 3 are allowed to reopen for now.
On Monday, 3rd of August, 2020, Students are to see their first day in school since the lockdown and pandemic began, students are still required to maintain the health guidelines given and most importantly social distancing.
