The remains of the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi will be committed to mother earth today in Ibadan.
According to information available to MetroNews Ng, the corpse of Ajimobi was deposited last night at Toks funeral Home,Alausa same place family members and close political associates will gather in the morning for onward movement to Ibadan where he will be buried according to islamic rites.
It is not immediately confirmed if he will be accorded state burial ceremony by Oyo State government considering the fact that his death was related to Covid-19 complications although he was reported to have tested negative before the lung surgery that he did not recover from.
Party loyalists and supporters have been thronging his Ibadan residence since the news of his death became known. Senator Ajimobi died aged 70.
