Man, 65, Had Sex With Dog, Made Child Porn With Own Grandchildren

A grandfather has faced a Sydney court accused of bestiality with a spaniel and producing child abuse material involving his own grandchildren.
The 65-year-old was first arrested by detectives from the State Crime Command’s child abuse squad in September 2016 over alleged child sex offences involving the two young girls.
It is the second time he has been charged with child sex offences in the past nine months.

He was charged with 14 child sex offences and released on bail, a NSW Police spokeswoman said on Wednesday.
Investigators searched a house in Sydney’s south after the arrest and seized a computer and electronic storage devices for forensic examination.
 
He appeared at Sutherland Local Court on Wednesday on eight new charges: two counts of bestiality and six counts of producing child abuse material.
Police allege the man performed an act of bestiality with a King Charles cocker spaniel in May 2012 and again in April 2014, court documents show.
He is also accused of producing child abuse material on multiple occasions since 2014.

Court documents reveal police are concerned the grandfather poses a high risk to his immediate family and the community.
The man did not apply for bail on Wednesday and it was formally refused.
He’s due to appear before Central Local Court on August 8 via video link.
