Less than 24hours to the Presidential and National Assembly elections, APC leaders are leading Soldiers and SARs Personnel to arrest hundreds of PDP supporters in different towns of Rivers State.
Towns worse hit as at Press Time include, Eleme, Abonnema, Abua, Omoku, Ahoada , Bori and Bodo.
The soldiers and SARs Personnel as at Thursday night were directed to the homes of PDP ward leaders in the said towns. These security personnel, according to eye witnesses, would shoot sporadically to scare people, before effecting illegal arrests.
Leaders are of the belief that the trick is being adopted to create a window for APC faction loyal to Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi to use hired armed thugs to cart away electoral materials.
Several Ethnic Nationalities have complained of the unholy relationship between the Army, SARs and APC ahead of the general elections.
