A 42-year-old self acclaimed Pastor, Pope Paul, has been arrested for allegedly raping as well as impregnating a 15-year-old-girl at Egan area of Igando.
The Pastor was said to have taken advantage of the teenage girl who had been living with him since 2017.
Police said that the case was reported at Igando Police Station by the victim’s mother who resides in Akure, Ondo State capital.
Lagos State Police spokesman, Bala Elkana, who confirmed the arrest, said that the case was reported at the station on August 2, 2019.
Elkana said that about at about 3 pm, the mother of the survivor who came all the way from Akure in Ondo State reported at the station that ‘Pastor Pope’ who resides at number 10/11 Aminu Street, Ishuti Road, Egan in Igando area, had been sleeping with his 15-year-old daughter, Sinceshe, since when she was 12 year old.
In the same vein, a 68-years-old man, one Yisah Showunmi, was also arrested for raping his 15-year-old daughter and her friends.
