Players and officials of newly promoted Kwara United FC were involved in a road accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Wednesday morning, as they embark on a journey back to their base in Ilorin.
According to report gathered, no life was lost in the incident which occurred while approaching Ibadan. Although the team bus was badly damaged, but the injured players and officials have been taken to nearby hospital in Ibadan.
The Harmony Boys (as they are fondly called) were returning home from the Bet9ja Nigeria National League (NNL) Super Four competition which ended On Tuesday in Lagos.

Meanwhile, the team is scheduled to host Niger Tornadoes of Minna in match-day one fixture at the Ilorin Township Stadium on Sunday.
