Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has declared that she is officially “off the streets.”
The Grammy-winning artist made the statement during a recent TikTok livestream while speaking candidly about dating and her experiences with men. Expressing clear frustration with those who waste her time, Tems said she no longer deals with such situations.

“I don’t like it when guys waste my time. But for me, never again. I don’t have that problem anymore. I have left the streets; I wouldn’t even say I was ever on the streets. I don’t have that problem anymore,” she stated.
Tems did not name any individuals or confirm that she is currently in a relationship. The singer has long maintained a private stance on her romantic life.

In a separate comment, Tems shared her views on dating within the Nigerian entertainment industry. When asked whether she would approach Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye if given the chance, she replied that while she knows who he is, they have no personal relationship.
She added that she prefers to keep interactions with Nigerian celebrities strictly friendly and does not see herself pursuing romantic relationships with them.
